When the electrical load is heavy, the connector heats up and the plastic tape easily melts and shrinks. The power connectors squeeze each other in the junction box. When the connector has burrs, it is very It is easy to pierce plastic tape.

These hidden dangers will directly endanger personal safety, cause short circuit of the circuit, and cause fire. The above situation does not occur with insulating black tape. It has a certain strength and flexibility, can be tightly wrapped around the joint for a long time, and is compactly shaped by time and temperature. It will not fall off and is flame retardant. In addition, wrapped with insulating black tape and wrapped with plastic tape can prevent moisture and rust.

Of course, the insulating self-adhesive tape also has defects. Although it has good waterproof performance but is easily broken, it is necessary to wrap two layers of plastic tape as a protective layer. The joint and the insulating self-adhesive tape of the joint are not sticky to each other, and the performance is better.
